The Free plan allows users to collaborate on content and add a limited number of their own new recordings to the workspace until they run out of this allocation. On the other hand, Paid seats have the ability to add unlimited new recordings to the workspace and can perform advanced creative actions like downloading transcripts or making new Collections and Stories, among other things. Upgrading to a paid plan only requires paying for the users who need a recording seat.

When upgrading, new members are on the Free plan by default unless specified otherwise upon invitation. With at least one member upgraded to the Business plan, users have the option to have up to 20 Free seats. As for the Enterprise plan, it requires a minimum number of paid seats but includes an unlimited number of free seat members.

The date a workspace first subscribes to a Business or Enterprise plan establishes the go-forward date at which recurring charges will be processed. If a new member is upgraded to a paid seat, their pro-rated charges will be processed immediately (based on the number of days remaining in the current billing period) and their full seat cost will be added to the next billing cycle. When downgrading or de-activating existing users, their charges will be removed at the beginning of the next billing window.
