How do I split a file and download full stems after receiving stem previews as a new user?
After you have uploaded a file and received stem previews as a new user, you need to sign up to split the entire file and download full stems. Below the stem previews, select one of the options: Starter, Lite or Plus. Then click the Process the Entire File button below the chosen option. If you select the Starter package, you will see the sign-up section. Enter your email or sign up with Google, Apple Id, or Facebook. Please note that the Starter package allows you to split up to 10 minutes worth of audio/video and listen to the results, but you won’t be able to download them. Please get one of the paid packages to unlock the download feature. If you select the Lite or Plus package, you will see the payment methods. Choose one of the options, and you will be taken to the checkout page. Once the payment is complete, you will be able to split the entire track and download the extracted stems. All related information, including the download links, will be sent to your email or account you’ve signed up with. Do LALAL.AI packages expire?
No, LALAL.AI packages do not have an expiration date per se. Once you’ve acquired a package, it stays until you’ve used all minutes available for splitting. Suppose you’ve bought the 90-minute Lite package and processed 90 minutes worth of audio/video through the service. In that case, you will need to purchase a new package to split more files. How does the stem separation type work?
There are several stem separation types you can choose from, and only one separation type is applied at a time, giving you two stems per file. Depending on your chosen type, you receive a pair of vocal and instrumental stems, isolated drums, and drumless stem, isolated bass and bassless stem, etc. Minutes are deducted from your account by the following formula: Total file length x stem separation type(s) number. For example, suppose the file length is 5 minutes, selected separation types are drums, piano, and vocal/instrumental. In that case, the total number of deducted minutes is 5 minutes x 3 stem separation types = 15 minutes. You can split as many files as you want as long as their total length doesn’t exceed the minute limit of your package.
