Lockly Smart Lock

Smart locks are becoming increasingly popular. This is largely thanks to the convenience they bring. No longer does someone have to remember keys or worry about locking themselves out of their house. Instead, they can unlock their door remotely through their smartphone. But while smart locks are convenient, they can also pose security risks. That’s where Lockly comes into play.

Lockly is a smart lock that allows users to open and close their doors via Bluetooth. It works like a standard keyless entry system except instead of pressing buttons, you press your phone against the device. Once unlocked, the door automatically opens. If you forget to turn off the app, the door remains locked until you manually re-open it.

The Ardwolf A60 has an integrated biometric door lock with right handle. Keyless entry, fingerprint lock, auto lock, electronic keypad, and smart lock for garage doors, home windows, and doors. [Diagnosis and treatment of torsion of the spermatic cord].

My biggest concern with these types of locks is what happens if your battery dies. The failure safe features of the device address this issue. In the beginning, an alarm will light and beep if the battery is going low. It requires a normal battery, and does not require a particular size of battery to be ordered. Then there is a key entry if you need it, and finally it can be hooked up to a power bank to gain access. I think the quality, ease of installation, and additional security measures make it worth the price.

The A60 is a very sturdy and nice looking biometric, code, and key lock. This is my third biometric lock. I enjoyed the Ardwolf A1 previously, but the A60 is a welcome upgrade. Prior to these two, I had a different brand which failed in less than one year. The customer service at Ardwolf is excellent.

We were securing our garage to the house with this, but the original setup is a door handle with a deadbolt above it. The Ardwolf lock is tall and overlapped the deadbolt hole so I had to remove it, but was left with a partial hole that I could not fill. I ended up not using the lock. I would choose the A1 lock, instead. They did not respond to my email, so they didn't know what to do.

We bought the lock in March. It caused an issue in January. We contacted the company and they replace the lock. The customer service was excellent. The new one arrived within a couple of days. We highly enjoyed The Lock and would recommend it to anyone.

It is easy to install and used well. I have five of them. There will be no more fighting with children. You do not have to keep keys around. They never keep them. I have the backup so if they don't listen, I can still get in.

The Lockly Secure Hub is a fantastic tool My Alexa integration was very good in the beginning. The lockly secure hub is located within ten feet of my front door lock, but is within fifteen feet of the nearest router or mesh point. You will want to keep the distance down under 10 feet with an Xfinity modem/ WiFi router combo, or an inexpensive Belkin router or the Nighthawk routers. If you are able to get an Eero or AmpliFiHD mesh network. It will increase the distance you can place your Lockly Secure Hub. It will also fix many other WiFi problems in your home. I am definitely a life fan of Lockly after using their smart door lock and hub.

I really enjoy the WiFi module.

I needed a remote hub to unlock my door.

I really like it. It is very awesome, safe, and easy to install. However I am unable to use Fingerprint or WiFi to it. You need to purchase a separate device for that. Using a door opener can work if you look into it from the exterior.

The Kwikset Halo smart lock does not work with Kwikset products compatible with the Kwikset App. The Kwikset Halo smart lock is compatible with Kwikset locks only.

I was able to install it in less than fifteen minutes. It is a sleek design that looks great on the door. It was simple to set up an account and have my wifi connect. The Kwikset App is very simple and intuitive. I am happy that I have the ability to control my lock remotely using the WiFi without purchasing an additional controller. I set up additional user access codes for my family and scheduled a housekeeper code to only work on Tuesdays. This app provides an interesting lock history so I can observe events. The cherry on top was that I was able to rekey the new lock to match all of the other existing locks on my house using the Smart Key feature. It is an amazing feature which only took me a few seconds to setup. Now, I do not have to carry any additional keys. I am very pleased with the product.

Alexa works nicely. Unless I am missing it, I wish there was an ability to schedule at a set time each night. Perhaps that will come in a future app release. I am happy that these locks replace my Kwikset premises locks.

I just received it over the weekend, and installed it. The app was simple to use. It is easy to install hardware. It's not requiring you to know too many codes, but it was satisfactory. I replaced an existing Kwikset electronic lock, and installed the app in no time. Creating an account with several codes for both phone and email makes adding the lock to the App easy and the steps are clearly visible. I read the instructions, though. The app seems simple and had everything I needed to give codes to different people. I'll keep an eye on the battery, but it seems good for me. I am sure they will add that in the future. It does not support IFTTT, which I utilize with my SmartThings to track lights and sensors. If you are reading this, please add the following features. I will stay tuned for future updates. Overall, I have had a good experience so far. I will see how it goes over time.

I was initially unsure why I purchased this lock purely due to the negative reviews. I decided to be brave after watching a YouTube video with a professional locksmith reviewing this lock and two other smart locks. I selected the Kwikset because of its ability for you to rekey their locks by yourself. Since I built my house, I have always had Kwikset, and I love that if I replace the locks, I can just rekey, and also no worries about having to make new keys for everybody that has keys. The Kwikset Halo is very easy to install. I had already had a deadbolt replaced so I did not have to measure and drill holes for the lock to be installed. I believe that there are some negative reviews for not following the instructions step by step correctly. The instructions are very detailed and explain that if you do not do this step in this order correctly, that lock may not work properly. It took me 25 minutes to install, taking my time, and double checking every step. The setup of Smart lock feature, connecting to WiFi, completing firmware update, and setting up app and account took around half that time. Once lock was installed, the following are my list of pros and cons I found. It is easy if the installation is second. The smart feature is via blue tooth through your WiFi, so there is no need for a special hub. I prefer touchpads over keys. They possess both quality and looks. It is great to have all of these options if you need to allow people into your house for a temporary reason. The application allows you to monitor who is coming into the house, and if the door is locked or unlocked. The price is reasonable when compared to other smart locks that contain the same features. Making a loud noise while locking and unlocking. Electronic motions make it sound a bit louder. The LED status light flies to life every 5 seconds. I have just learned that this feature can be turned off in the future, however. It holds extremely well. Having this feature allows you to slide up the cover to access the battery when necessary. It may be difficult to follow instructions. If you have poor WiFi reception near where the lock is going to be installed, this may affect lock operation. Overall, I am very pleased with this lock so far. I have not had lock for a long enough time to comment on battery life or durability. I know other Kwikset locks come with a lifetime warranty. However, this has a one year warranty. Probably because the electronic components are in this lock.

Buyer's Guide

How To Choose The Best Lockly Smart Lock

Smart locks have been around for years now, but they haven't really taken off as much as expected. However, there are still plenty of reasons why you might want to invest in a smart lock. This article will help you decide whether a smart lock is right for you.

What Is A Lockly Smart Lock?

The Lockly Smart Lock is an innovative new product for parents who want to make sure their children stay safe while at home. The Lockly Smart Lock allows parents to monitor what their children are doing inside their homes using a mobile app. Parents can view live video feeds of their children through the app, allowing them to see if anyone has entered their house without permission. This gives parents peace of mind knowing that their children are safe even when they're away from home.

Where Can I Buy A Lockly Smart Lock?

Yes! We sell the Lockly Smart Lock directly to consumers in retail locations across the country.

Who Needs A Lockly Smart Lock?

Smart locks are becoming increasingly common these days. But do you know how they really work? Are they worth the money? What kind of security does each one offer? How do you use them?

The most basic type of smart lock is called a deadbolt. Deadbolts are mechanical devices that require a key to open. They were originally designed to protect homes against burglars. However, they're still widely used today. Most modern versions of deadbolts are equipped with sensors that detect motion and sound. When someone tries to force the door open, the sensor sends a signal to the lock. Then, the lock automatically unlocks.

Deadbolts aren't perfect though. They can fail to unlock if the person doesn't turn the knob properly. Also, they only work when the door is closed. So, if you forget to close the door before leaving home, you could end up locked inside.

Another type of smart lock is called a magnetic lock. Magnetic locks are similar to deadbolts. Instead of using a key, however, they rely on magnets to operate. Like deadbolts, they send signals to the lock when someone opens the door. Unlike deadbolts, however, they don't require any physical contact. As long as the magnet is attached to the outside of the door, the lock will remain unlocked.

Magnetic locks are useful for doors that are difficult to access. For instance, they're ideal for garage doors. Garage doors usually have heavy steel frames. Because of this, they're hard to move manually. So, if you live near a busy road, you probably wouldn't want to install a regular deadbolt. But if you live in a quiet neighborhood, a magnetic lock would be a better solution.

There are other types of smart locks. Others use Bluetooth. Still others use infrared beams. Each has its advantages and disadvantages. Which one is best depends on your situation.

The Importance Of Purchasing A Quality Lockly Smart Lock

Smart locks have become increasingly popular among homeowners because they provide convenience and security. They eliminate the hassle of having keys and the worry of forgetting them. However, many people do not realize how easy it is to break into their home if they leave their door unlocked. This is especially true if they live alone. Fortunately, there are ways to protect your property against theft and burglary. One way to keep your home safe is by installing a quality smart lock. Here are some reasons why you should invest in one:

Convenience. A quality smart lock makes life easier. You won't have to carry keys anymore. Instead, you'll just use your smartphone to unlock your door. This saves you time and effort. Plus, you won't have to worry about losing your key ever again.

Security. When you install a quality smart lock, you increase the security of your home. Thieves will find it harder to enter your home since they must first hack into your phone. Once inside, they may not even bother stealing anything. Instead, they'll simply walk away empty handed.

Peace of mind. Installing a quality smart lock means that you can sleep soundly knowing that your home is protected. No more worrying about whether or not your house is locked up. You can rest assured that your valuables are safe.

If you want to ensure that your home remains safe and secure, then you should purchase a quality smart lock. Investing in a quality smart lock will save you time, money, and stress. So go ahead and buy one now!

Features To Consider When Buying A Lockly Smart Lock

Security features. The most important feature of a smart lock is its security. Make sure the lock has a keypad so you can enter your code whenever you want to unlock your door. This way, no one else can gain access to your house while you're away.

Easy setup. Another important consideration when purchasing a smart lock is ease of installation. Some locks take time to set up, whereas others are simple to install. Look for a lock that takes only minutes to set up.

Smart technology. Most smart locks work just like traditional locks. They allow you to control them using your smartphone app. However, they do more than just let you turn your keys remotely. These locks can track who enters and exits your home, monitor temperature inside, and even alert you if someone tries to break into your home.

Accessories. Many smart locks come with additional accessories. For example, some models include a deadbolt, which allows you to lock your front door from the inside. Others include sensors that detect motion and sound, allowing you to know if anyone is trying to break into your home.

Keyless entry. Keyless entry makes it easier to leave your house. Simply push a button on your remote instead of having to insert a key into the lock. Plus, you never have to worry about losing your keys again!

Remote monitoring. With many smart locks, you can check in on your home from anywhere. Just download the free app to your phone or tablet, then log in to view live video feeds of your home. You can even change settings such as turning off lights or locking doors remotely.

Battery backup. Battery backups ensure that your smart lock continues working even if there's a power outage. This means you can still protect your property during emergencies.

Safety. Finally, make sure your new smart lock complies with local building codes. Check with your city or county government to learn what regulations apply to your area.

Different Types Of Lockly Smart Lock

Lockly Smart Locks are a brand name for the latest generation of locks. They are designed to be highly customizable and offer a wide range of features. We will now look at what makes each version of the Lockly Smart Lock special.

Smart Lock. This model is the original version of the Lockly Smart Lock. It was released in 2016 and offers a number of useful features including remote access, keyless entry, and biometric authentication. The device works by scanning your fingerprint and comparing it against a database of fingerprints stored on the device. If the scan matches, the door unlocks automatically. The device also allows users to set up multiple profiles for different family members. For example, parents could create a profile for children and a separate profile for teenagers.

Secure Lock. The Secure Lock is a newer version of the Smart Lock. It was released in 2017 and adds a few extra features. One of the main differences between the two models is that the Secure Lock includes a panic button. This means that if someone tries to force open the door, they will be unable to do so until the owner presses the button. Another feature added to the Secure Lock is the ability to add custom images to the outside of the lock. This lets users customize the appearance of the lock without having to replace the entire unit.

Lockly Lock. The newest version of the Lockly Smart Lock is called the Lockly Lock. It was released in 2018 and brings a lot of improvements over its predecessor. The biggest change is that the Lockly Lock uses Bluetooth technology instead of WiFi. This means that the device does not need to connect to any wireless network in order to function. Users can also use the Lockly Lock to control lights and appliances connected to the home’s Wi-Fi network. A major improvement over previous versions of the Lockly Smart Lock is that it is capable of working with third party apps. This means that users can install applications on their phone that interact with the Lockly Lock. An example of this would be a light bulb app that turns off the lights whenever the user leaves the house.
