I do not often open my gun safe and knowing when to change the dehumidifier is a problem, but no longer. I can easily determine if the humidity level has risen by looking at the sensors located on the front of the safe. Knowing the inside safe temperature is also a bonus. I would open the safe and check the thermometer inside of it. When I assembled the device, I discovered the package did not contain the magnetic adhesive tape strip. I used double backed sticky tape to attach the monitor to the outside of the safe. I could have used the monitor stand and placed the sensor on the top of my safe, but I prefer mounting it on the door. I called the seller and they mailed the strip. I wish I had discovered it earlier.
This piece of hardware proves to be important for my safe setup. The device informed me that my dehumidifier was not performing as well as it should have. It is no surprise that it has been in use for fifteen years. You should do yourself a favor and get one of these.
This wireless hygrometer works extremely well. There are no problems with setting it up and monitoring it.
Add two AAA batteries to each unit, install transmitter inside gun safe, and place receiver out side gun safe. You can use magnetic tape to stick it to the door or anywhere you choose.

I had read several reviews before purchasing the organizer and decided that I was definitely worth the trouble. It's a solid product. I have several magazines attached to it now. I have no concerns of them getting knocked off or falling on their own. I do not know what is going on, but I believe you can buy this item with confidence. I have only had one style of extended magazines from Springfield that were not attracted to the magnet.
It is such a strong magnet that you need the included pry tool or screwdriver to wedge the holder off. This product is great, I will be ordering more.
I bought it so that I could try it out, and I was surprised at it. The pistol and magazines are secured to the underside of my shelf. Nothing moves and it is quite strong for holding up a full size hand gun.
I have purchased a few different magnets for hanging pistols and magazines. This magnet is stronger than most magazine magnets. I hung my M&P shield magazines on it. I have seven already but it holds them well even when it is loaded.
WHAT WE LIKED MOST:
It fits our needs perfectly because of its ample size. The instructions for setting up master and user code are stepbystep and easy to read.
I did not receive an instruction manual. Set up personal code if you require it.
I have not used a fingerprint reader. I bought this to secure large bills. The slot is ideal for our business. The bottom section has paperwork that I need to hide. It was made with a slight modification, so it required me to pull the slot through to open the bag. I am pleased to say I was added to the security.

I use a small dehumidifier in my bathroom. I have a fan in my bathroom, but the steam would still create mildew spots. I have had this in the bathroom for a couple months now and I have not noticed any new mildew spots. I have to resuscitate it every few weeks. As a result, there is so much moisture in the bathroom. It is a simple process. You can click on the link if you found my review helpful.
I have been using these for ten years. I ordered several more because they say that they probably need replaced by ten years. They work very well in pulling moisture out of my safes. I am able to replace the silica beads in the old units. I would not have wanted to do that until I installed the new units. There are four screws in the back of the unit. You can loosen them and pop off the little door on the side. Go through the beads, and dispose of them. It has snap tabs so you can pop the door back in. The unit holds around 320 grams of beads.
This is my second Eva Dry unit. I live in West Central Florida, which is less than half a mile from the gulf coast. The only way is to use the Vapour Dry System. I had tried the Golden Rod Electric Dehumidifier and while it is a nice product, it consumes a small amount of power and just continues to draw that power 24/7. I am uncomfortable with having a heater element running 24/7 inside my safe. It's a wasteful undertaking, and involves risk a bit. Using the EVA dry system eliminates that concern completely. If you're not familiar with this simple system, the EVA dry product uses an internally installed packet of pure Silica Gel beads. They possess a hygroscope, meaning they like water. Those beads suck water from the air and absorb it into the pack like little, molecular sponges. When they do it, the normally yellow beads gradually turn a dark green color. That is when you know it is time to dry them out. The manufacturer likes to use the term recharge. Spin it wherever you want. The beads are dry. The Eva Dry Unit has a small component that acts as a food dehydrator. I removed the safe from the unit and plugged the unit into it when the beads' dark green color indicate they are a bit moist. The beads are dried in a builtin dehydrator, which takes around 10 to 12 hours to dry. You will see the beads turn yellow when the gel is dry, and you are good to go! The box is ready to go again, so I unplug the unit and flip the plug back into the EVA dry case. I place the box back into the safe. Aside from having no cable, there is no additional power required. Immediately start absorbing moisture again. I have discovered that in my safe a fully dried box will last two months, depending on how frequently I open it. You will see when the color turns, and then you have the option to plug in the unit, and then dry the beads out. It is fantastic simplicity. You are not afraid of what may happen when all is happening, yet you are very effective. In my opinion, this is the way to go. You can see how economical it is.
Since I got married, I have noticed how stinky a closet can get from shoes. I am beginning to realize that the cost of Damp Rid was beginning to increase for the first year of marriage. I hardly enjoyed constantly purchasing new packs of DampRid. Then, I stumbled upon this. I feel much better spending money on something that is reusable and will last for years. It will save us money that we were wasting. I am still loving it after four years of use.
WHAT WE LIKED MOST:
This is a nice plastic holder, so do not expect indestructibility. It is plastic but it is solid. The hat fits my professional mag perfectly because there is a detent that is perfect because I am mounting it to my safe door so when you slam it accidently things do not fall apart.
It was installed on the inside of the gun case. It is a good fit in many aftermarket magazines. This will not work for women who have Oem magazines without the little pin.
It works great with magazines such as Magpul.
WHAT WE LIKED MOST:
The organizer appears very sturdy and has all pockets and straps securely sewn. Nice heavy zippers on the pouches. Holsters are large enough to hold full size semiautomatic pistols. It's simply a matter of whether your safe has enough clearance between the door and the shelves in determining how well this works for you. I am happy with my choice.
It works great. It came with extra holsters so that you can hang some extra guns in the safe.
It fits nicely against the door frame and is simple to install. Then once items are in pockets, it's still small enough to close door without hitting inside shelves. This is quality, great value for the price.
It was an exceptional product at a reasonable price.
