Fingerprint Lock

Fingerprint locks are becoming increasingly popular. If you work in a secure environment where security measures are important, then you may want to consider purchasing a fingerprint lock. This type of lock allows you to open doors quickly and easily while protecting against unauthorized entry. It works like a keypad that requires fingerprints instead of a code to unlock the door.

A fingerprint lock is easy to install and operate. All you need to do is place the fingerprint scanner under the door handle and plug it into the wall outlet. Once installed, you can enter your fingerprint to gain access to the room. Unlike other types of locks, fingerprint locks are not affected by moisture so they won't rust or corrode.

WHAT WE LIKED MOST:

Get rid of your old key and keep your valuables safe with our fingerprint lock. With a built-in rechargeable battery, this lock is ready to use whenever you are. The lock is very lightweight and convenient to carry around. The biometric lock is equipped with a long lasting battery and it is suitable for both home and office use. It is also equipped with a fingerprint scanner that is easy to use and quick to unlock. It can be used to secure a backpack, gym locker, office locker, luggage, etc. It is also ideal for protecting your important documents, money, credit cards, etc. You can also use it to secure your car, motorcycle, bicycle, or any other vehicles. It is also ideal for securing your home or office. Features: -It is very easy to operate. -The fingerprint scanner is very convenient to use. -The fingerprint lock is very lightweight and convenient to carry around. -The fingerprint lock is very durable and reliable.

I returned to get another one because I originally purchased a pair for myself and for use at the gym, but my children were so interested, that I purchased another one. The first fingerprint you register is required to add or delete additional prints to your master password to use or program. We have been using and playing with it for around a week and the original charge that we put on it is still good enough to operate it. There are two aspects to consider. This is not a heavy duty super secure lock. A lightweight lock that can handle minor abuse. The fingerprint reader requires some pressure to accurately read your prints. It works great for what it is and is definitely a conversation starter.

It is not a heavy duty lock. If you are looking for sturdy and indestructible, then this is the one for you. I liked it for the price. That is a good product. As stated above, it is not a heavy duty lock but it serves its purpose, which was for the gym's locker room. You are required to initialize your finger print first. You can unlock it with anything, when you first use it. The steps are simple. Once you have activated the first fingerprint, it works flawlessly. I tried to use other finger prints and knuckles, but nothing opened it besides my identified fingerprint. I cannot complain so far.

This instruction manual can be of help to set up multiple fingers. However, it can not learn settings by using the fingerprints on an iPhone but I find it cost effective. I must try many times. After I input a second fingerprint, the problem has been solved.

I tried another, previously that was required of a device. The app was poorly done and so complicated to set up, that I returned it. I have this one instead, and this one is easy to program and understand. I am using it to secure my gun in the home so I wanted to have a lock that I can open quickly if I need to. This is great for that. You will definitely recommend this over the ones with an app. I know because it does exactly what it is supposed to do.

I just purchased a lock for use at the gym, I take off my glasses and find it hard to see some combination locks. I'm not a long term opinion, but reviewers who adamantly state that a finger opens this lock did not program it correctly. By default it will open regardless of what you press. Once you program it out it only accepts the finger programed. The instructions say to wait for the blue to come on first. This is not necessary. You can go to the next step by using the same finger until the switch turns solid green.

I love technology that does one thing well, without much fuss. This lock meets those requirements. It is simple to program and use daily, however, there are two minor issues to point out. The lock is not intended to secure valuable items or items that will remain unattended for an extended period of time. The lock shackle is thinner than most padlocks, and I assume it would be very easy to cut. Also, the fingerprint reader is not as accurate as we have come to expect from our phones where one swipe almost always succeeds. Sometimes this lock requires three or four attempts. All said and done, it is still faster and more convenient than a combination or keyed lock. I utilize mine at the gym. It would also be great for school lockers or anywhere else you need quick access but are not protecting anything extremely valuable for extended periods.

It was delivered a day earlier than it was promised. My brother and I scanned our index finger, and had the entire family and some friends try to open it, but no one was able to. I purchased it because my brother's fingers could only open it. I specifically used it to lock and protect a trailer that I own. Now I do not have to worry about having to open my trailer with a key again. My brother likes the fact that if it loses a charge, all we need to do is plug it into a USB port on my laptop and charge it to open the lock. I believe this lock is the best lock I have ever seen. I am going to purchase a few more.

I attempted to take a picture and then lock my phone. It did not work for me. For people like myself, the fingerprint lock is ideal for people who forget the combination. The instruction is thorough and helpful. This allows for multiple finger prints, but also includes instructions on how to delete when applicable. It is affordable, light, and comes with a USB cable.

I did not follow the correct procedure to enter my right forefinger. Watch the video because it is much easier to understand than the broken language in the manual. Once done correctly it works like a charm.

This worked. It is simple to program, easy to unlock, and easy to charge. The only problem is that I bought this for when I swim at the YMCA. That should explain the issue. I had to use the hand dryer to remove the water log from my thumb, to unlock the lock.

It is a nice lock and an excellent idea when you have multiple people using the same space. I did not read anything further. I saw the pictures. It is much smaller than I expected, but it works well. It may be difficult to program all the fingerprints with the computer. It has been outside on a parcel locker and so far has held up in a lot of rain and wind. The shape is pronounced 'u', and the thickness is relatively thin. A lock that is not thick enough to allow any difficulty, but it does have a slight drawback. I was a little overprize for such a small lock, but it is still working and has not caused me any headaches.

WHAT WE LIKED MOST:

Halo Touch is a smart lock that lets you enjoy the convenience of keyless entry without compromising on security. With Halo Touch, you can easily share access with your family and friends. Halo Touch is compatible with both iOS and Android devices.

It is a great lock and it is easy to install and use. I previously replaced an older Kwikset lock with a fingerprint version. After I added my fingers, it was simple and quick to use. I do not need to carry keys, get my phone out, or anything similar. I use my fingers frequently because I enjoy getting notifications from the app when my family is using the lock. I obtained my family's fingerprints. There are no codes to remember anymore. The only issue I had was the cable when I connected the parts together. There were some initial struggles to find a place for it. I will see how long the batteries last. I am satisfied with what I have received, but I will see how it goes before I begin.

We have had the Kwikset Kevo for several years. The Kevo lock up and work anytime when they leave, however, they would not be able to return after 10:30. The app can be configured to send push notifications whenever the lock is operated, to put the unit into secure mode and disable fingerprint access, so you can go on vacation and deactivate the lock. The actuator sleeve on the inside powered unit is plastic. The previous one was a white metal. This should be a low stress connection, and it does not impact security, however if it breaks, you would be forced to exit from another door and use your key to unlock the unit, or disassemble the powered unit and manually operate the pin. On the positive side, this unit is about half the thickness of the Kevo. It amazingly resembles a real nice piece of art.

I have owned numerous electronic deadbolts in the last five or six years. This one is by far my favorite. It's build quality is very good. Then all of the parts and pieces were in five individual boxes, all labeled, and the instructions walked you through when to open each box during the installation process. It was simple and quick. The lock reads your fingerprint details quickly, and opens. I feel that it is a wonderful lock that does more than every other lock that I have attempted in the past. There are features that I like, such as the history feature, turning sounds on and off, and the auto lock, and I am hoping to purchase another one for my garage entry door. I have some photos that I took during the installation. I will upload them soon.

It is easy to setup with the physical lock installation and the setup on the Kwikset App. It took less than fifteen minutes to install.

It comes with fobs master keys and all the screws. It has easy to follow instructions. Additionally, you can enable voice suppression using the app's settings.

I did not contact technical support because there was no need to. A strong design, and a simple to use app.

I returned to my original television remote after I discontinued cable. It is amazing the clarity of the HD reception. I am happy he is saving $80 a month from a large cable company, that took me 2 hours to get through to them. We have no more cable.

There are many different ways to unlock the lock without carrying a key, and program options that allow you to set when or if it auto locks are simply wonderful.

WHAT WE LIKED MOST:

This fingerprint door lock is the ideal choice for those who want to easily unlock their door without the need of a key. The fingerprint door lock can be used with all types of doors. Just collect fingerprints of authorized users and lock the door. The door lock is equipped with an emergency power supply to ensure that the door lock can operate even when the power supply is cut off. It also comes with a voice prompt to guide you through the setup process. It is suitable for both left and right-handed doors.

I am sure this device will have an app accompanying it. I cannot remotely unlock the door for someone or update the firmware on this device. If I could not complain much about the price, this should not be an issue again. This handle is extremely sturdy and it has an excellent build quality. I was impressed by the quality of the build. Once installed, there is not a single bit of play or wiggle to the doorknob. It is as solid as it could be. I am very pleased and the movement is very smooth. Its installation and configuration were easy and it works flawlessly every time I use it. Yet again, I am very impressed. Thank you so much for an awesome product. The next time my kids attempt to enter my office without my knowledge, I will be laughing.

Is there any support for this product? Too many times, I've been told to leave my name and number. Emails are in nothingness and there is not a response. Documentation is childish. They contain the absolute minimum information on the installation, setup, and operation of the device. You go to their website, if you need support, this product model or picture is not even listed under Locks. It is unlikely that it exists. I was unable to obtain more detailed instructions on the operation of the device. How can I change the battery? The manual states to change but the website states that the batteries are rechargeable. It has an indication that the battery is running low. What is the sign that the space is finally occupied? You have no answer. They explain how to add more fingerprints, yet you must figure out on your own that you need to insert the provided pin into the reset hole to add more fingerprints. The video is straightforward enough. They are very generous with four long screws, however, the instructions only instruct you to use two. Did I miss something? I would advise that you purchase two locks, because there are only one locks. The reason this is even a question is because the keys are nontraditional. No velvet, but a series of grooves on the key.Overall, good cool factor once you get it working, basic or incomplete directions, no technical support via phone or email as touted. I would suggest you look elsewhere. Updated on August 12th, my contact form was recieved by a highly skilled support representative. All of my questions were properly answered. Very impressive, detailed, positive, and open to feedback responses. They have gained my trust. The product has proven very effective. The fingerprint is recognizable almost exclusively but the other 5% I'm unable to identify due to an incorrect placement. The product does certainly work as advertised.

When I opened the box to install this for my mother I was nervous at first. I got this as a birthday gift for her. The QR codes it was supposed to scan in the Quick Setup Guide are useless. A YouTube QR code will be displayed in a video that is no longer available on the app. The fingerprint lock number 201 is not visible in the menu. The 202 is on it and not the 201. The guy in the video, who showed the instructions in the video, had a great video on how to install the lock. After watching that, I installed it on my mother's bedroom door. Setting up a fingerprint scanner was easy and quick. My mother and I were appointed administrators, with my brother acting as a backup. When the battery dies, the lock comes with two keys and we have tested it multiple times after installation and it worked perfectly. I am very pleased that my mother has been private.

WHAT WE LIKED MOST:

eLinksmart Fingerprint Lock Locker Lock is a smart fingerprint lock locker lock that can be used in the locker room school & other places. It is the ideal lock for your personal belongings, such as the backpack suitcase chest cabinet etc. With fingerprint recognition, you can unlock the locker with your fingerprint, without the need of a password. When the locker is locked, you can open it by pressing the button. It is convenient and safe to use. eLinksmart Fingerprint Lock Locker Lock is equipped with a high-quality security chip, which can store up to 15 fingerprints. It is also equipped with a rechargeable lithium battery, which can provide 1 year standby time. The fingerprint lock can be charged via USB cable.

I really like this lock, but first let's be clear that it is almost exactly the same size and strength as my old combination lock that I used for luggage. The locker would be great so that someone wouldn't casually rifle through your belongings. When I travel, I use this on my backpack. It is not an outdoor padlock and will not stop someone with a hammer or crowbar. Do not put it on checked luggage. I was initially concerned that it might be heavy, but that was not a problem at all. I prefer the appearance, which has received praise from everyone who saw it. However, it only took five minutes at most. The instructions could be a little more clear but it works if you really carefully follow it word for word. The seller seemed unreliable. The packaging is not elegant, and there are lots of typos all over the place. I received five stars for it, because it is not an expensive purchase and it has not had any problems.

In my scenario, I use it to lock my bike at the office. However, you can utilize this to lock your personal locker, or for your gym locker, or perhaps use it to bolt your precious items at work. The set up takes approximately a few minutes, and the best thing about the whole setup is that you can add other people to have the option to open the lock, as well as your spouse. The unlock can be opened from the app, the lock itself, or from the scanner included with it. I was surprised by the convenience of it. It is an incredible item, it is very simple to install. A secure lock with the convenience of using it with your fingerprints.

You are able to lock your keys in your locker with a lock if you do not want to fumble with keys. The finger print reader works perfectly. I swim at the gym and put everything into the locker while swimming. I needed to remove my belongings and swipe my finger. I do not like taking keys when I dial together. I cannot however attest to its durability as a lock. It will do the job securely. I do not believe it will stand up to a person attempting to break in. I suggest you use it in a secure location with adequate supervision and not lock up anything of serious value with it. It is a wonderful lock.

It does not actually work like a normal lock. The lock is typically stationary, large, and imposing, meant to protect valuable tangibles. This lock is easy to use. It is intended to provide easy access. If you must figure out the controls, it has unique functions which I have not seen. I think it is ideal for someone who is attempting to keep their privacy. It actually changes my definition of a lock because it is all about privacy and can be used for small things. No key is required to use it while away. The mechanics are easy to learn, once you figure it out, it works well with normal locks because you will find uses that you didn't expect. You can create a new use of it as long as you have a thumb.

WHAT WE LIKED MOST:

The Fingerprint Door Lock is the most advanced biometric door lock available. It uses a high resolution fingerprint sensor to identify your unique fingerprint. Its simple to install and operate. No drilling required. It's a great choice for home, office, AirBnB, and hotel. A perfect solution for protecting your home or business. The Fingerprint Door Lock has the following features: - Quick and easy installation - Easy to use - Works with most standard single-cylinder US doors - Fingerprint ID - Low battery alert - Low power consumption - Always open mode - Auto-lock function - Anti-pick function - Easy to repair - One year warranty and free lifetime technical support. - Can be used in both left and right opening doors. - You can configure the door lock handle for left opening or right opening doors. - Includes a USB cable for emergency power supply. - Comes with a set of 4 AAA batteries.

It appears to be a well constructed lock, which looks good on our garage door. The instructions for installation could be better. The instructions do not indicate where to click to set up the fingerprints. It is easy to setup, reads our fingerprints quickly, and is accessible by the button on the end of the battery pack. It is recommended for now. Time will tell how it will hold up.

The lock was easy to install, feels great in your hand, and recognizes your finger print pretty close to every time. If you do need to flip the handle around, the spring that pulls the handle back into place may get caught on the edge of where the set screw goes. In my opinion, the handle is an important part when it comes to turning a right hand door. That is normal. Third, print the same thumb that the administrator prints. It makes your thumbprint easier to recognize. #4 I also put my other thumb in as well. One of the disadvantages of later is that you are going to have your hands full and need to awkwardly open the door with the wrong hand. Get your arms full, and open the door. I hope this was helpful.

I am on my third episode. They last between four and six weeks. It means I will make a second trip to return. The third one is a little bit difficult. I have now completed my life. I suppose we are technocrats. The installation and program took me only a few minutes. I am going to continue to watch these and place to use them in several places. We have an autistic child, and these have helped immensely for closet doors and garage.

The product arrived in a simple but great packaging. I find the color attractive as well. The setup was quite simple. If you are able to install a normal doorknob, you are able to install a fingerprint door lock quickly following their installation video and manual. Fingerprint registered without any issues, and it works fine. Recognition is very sensitive and very quickly. I get paranoid about auto lock and end up checking to make sure it did lock, but so far it has been reliable. I suppose the product looks good. I am pleased with it.

I needed a lock for a gym, and purchased this one after buying another that did not work. This is very effective, your fingerprint is easy to set up and it is light enough that I leave it attached to my purse so I do not forget it when I go to the gym. There is a charging port. Buyer's Guide

How To Choose The Best Fingerprint Lock

Fingerprints have become more than just a security feature - they are now used as a form of identification. This has led to a surge in demand for fingerprint locks. These days, you can get fingerprint locks in almost every shape and size imaginable. However, not all fingerprint locks are created equal.

What Is A Fingerprint Lock?

Fingerprints are unique patterns made up of lines, swirls, whirls, loops, dots, and more. They are created by ridges on our fingers, palms, toes, and soles of feet. These fingerprints are like a signature for each person, and no two people will ever share the same set of prints. This means that if someone steals something from you, there is only one copy of that item, and it cannot be duplicated.

The most common type of fingerprint lock is called an electronic fingerprint scanner. Electronic fingerprint scanners work much like a credit card reader at a grocery store checkout counter. The scanner reads the pattern of ridges on your finger and compares this to the stored information about your fingerprint. If the scan matches what is stored in the system, the door opens. If not, the door remains closed.

Electronic fingerprint scanners are very accurate because they read the exact shape of your print. However, they are expensive, require electricity, and must be connected to a power source. For these reasons, many businesses prefer to install traditional mechanical fingerprint locks instead.

Who Needs A Fingerprint Lock?

Fingerprints are one of the most reliable forms of identification. But, sometimes, fingerprints aren't enough. Sometimes, criminals use fake fingers to commit crimes. Or, someone else could steal your identity. Either way, it's important to protect your personal information.

That's where fingerprint locks come in. These devices allow you to store sensitive data such as credit cards, social security numbers, passwords, and other private information. No one else can see it.

These devices are becoming increasingly popular. Because they offer protection against fraud, they're being used in places such as banks, schools, government buildings, and hospitals. Even businesses are using these devices to secure their offices and computers.

But, how do you know which device is right for you? Here are three things to look for before buying a fingerprint lock.

Some fingerprint locks are designed to withstand extreme conditions. Others are made to last longer. Look for a product that meets your specific requirements.

Many companies sell affordable products that perform poorly. Make sure you purchase a fingerprint lock that has been tested thoroughly.

The best place to start shopping for a fingerprint lock is online. You can also visit local stores and ask employees for recommendations.

Once you decide which type of fingerprint lock works best for you, you can shop around for the perfect deal. Remember, prices vary depending on the brand and model.

When you find the perfect fingerprint lock, you'll feel safer knowing that your personal information is protected.

The Importance Of Purchasing A Quality Fingerprint Lock

If you've ever had your fingerprints stolen, then you understand how frustrating it can be to lose access to your personal belongings. Fortunately, there are ways to prevent theft by making sure that your possessions are secure. One way to do so is by purchasing a quality fingerprint lock. Below are some things to keep in mind when selecting a fingerprint lock:

Look for a quality product. Quality products are built to withstand everyday wear and tear. They won't break down after just one use. A quality product should have a warranty that covers any defects within the first year of purchase.

Consider the size of the lock. Locks come in different sizes. You'll want to select a lock that is large enough to accommodate your most valuable items. For example, if you have a laptop computer, you may wish to purchase a larger lock.

Make sure the lock is compatible with your existing security system. Make sure that the lock you purchase works with your current alarm system. This ensures that your property will remain protected even if your home is left unoccupied.

Purchase a lock that offers added protection. Consider buying a lock that includes a deadbolt feature. These types of locks are often used in hotels and other public buildings.

Think about where you plan to place the lock. If you plan to install the lock on a window, make sure that the area is free of obstructions such as windowsills, blinds, curtains, etc. When installing a lock on a window, make sure that the window itself isn't broken.

Don't forget to test the lock prior to installation. Before placing the lock on your valuables, try turning the key in the lock. If the lock doesn't turn freely, then it probably won't work properly.

Features To Consider When Buying A Fingerprint Lock

Fingerprints. The most common way thieves steal personal information these days is through fingerprints. That's why it's important to protect yourself against this type of theft. Look for a fingerprint lock that provides peace of mind.

Easy access. Most fingerprint locks are simple to install. They usually just snap into place and then click into position. This makes them quick and convenient to install.

Security. Many fingerprint locks feature security features such as anti-tamper technology, which prevents anyone else from installing a fake print.

Accessibility. Some fingerprint locks allow you to easily remove the key if you lose it. Others let you change the code if you forget your password.

Versatility. There are many types of fingerprint locks available. Some are used for doors while others are used for windows. And there are even fingerprint locks that work on credit cards.

Cost. Like anything else, you'll pay more for quality. But you'll also save time and frustration if you invest in a reliable fingerprint lock.

Different Types Of Fingerprint Lock

Fingerprints are incredibly useful tools. These are used by law enforcement agencies across the globe to identify criminals. These are also used by companies to verify identity documents and access sensitive information. Unfortunately, fingerprints are also easily stolen. This makes them a valuable target for hackers and thieves alike.

The problem with fingerprints is that they are incredibly complex. Each person’s prints are unique and cannot be duplicated exactly. This means that two identical prints could belong to completely separate individuals. To combat this issue, security experts have developed various methods to protect fingerprints. Here we will look at three of the most commonly used techniques.

Locks. Locks are perhaps the simplest way to secure fingerprints. A simple padlock is placed over the print area and locked shut. This prevents anyone else from touching the print. However, it does nothing to prevent someone from lifting the print off the surface. This is why it is important to use a good quality padlock.

Cyanoacrylate. Cyanoacrylate is a super glue that bonds objects together. It is cheap and effective. However, it is highly flammable and should never be left unattended. When applied correctly, cyanoacrylate creates a strong bond between the object and the paper. This makes it impossible to remove without destroying the paper.

Sealant. Sealants are a mixture of waxes and resins that create a barrier between the finger and the paper. Fingerprint Locks are less likely to damage the paper than cyanoacrylate. However, they are also harder to apply and can sometimes crack under pressure. They are therefore better suited to protecting large areas rather than small ones.
