The safe itself is nice, but there was an issue with the water resistance aspect. When I unboxed the safe, I discovered the water seal had been broken and had stuck out from underneath the door. This is one of my major requirements when selecting a safe product, as I live near water. The water seal is a small rubber/foam strip glued around the edge of the door. The door opens and closes and the sealing of the door rubs against the main body of the safe. It appears that the seal on mine twisted before the glue set and ripped apart. I reported the issue to the manufacturer and they sent a replacement seal. I am very pleased with the safe.

I had had a Sentry Safe before, but had many problems with it. This one is much better. I would purchase it again. I like the inserts, they make it more manageable.

As others have mentioned, there are no scratches or dents upon delivery. I use Amazon to find the best price. The safe is solid, and can be conveniently stored in a closet. I purchased the shelf and locking draw. They are very convenient for organizing items inside the safe. It opens and closes without any difficulty. There's plenty of space for storage. The door has two compartments, upper and lower, that protrude up to an inch for storing things such as a passport, etc.

Storing coins, important papers, passports, etc.

The safe box is nice, but a bit pricey for its size. I believe I can set the letter for password because there are letters on keyboard but it cannot just set the number for the password. I find it a great idea to have battery storage outside.

I am very happy with the purchase of this safe. It is large enough to hold my jewelry and other valued possessions. I love that it comes with two keys, and that makes it easy to open a safe in the event it fails. It has all the necessary hardware and accessories necessary to mount it to the wall. For the price it was a great safe.

I really like this safe box. It is small, and very easy to move around. You can also use a password and key.

Great product, what I wanted, and extremely satisfied.

The South Koreans have been manufacturing fireresistant safes for over thirty years and quality is their hallmark. This unit is no exception. The safe arrived well packed and without a scratch. A fire that is not burglary rated chest Two hour fire resistance means it can withstand the prolonged heat of a multistory fire. As far as burglary and resistance went, you have to compromise in order to keep the weight in check. I bought this item as a wedding gift for a young couple who will be living in various apartments over the next few years. The safe must be fully tested for fire safety. Weight was a problem. Heavy but not too heavy to use a handcart. 150 pounds is a good weight. A simple safe is strong enough incorporating this with a loud alarm and police connect. Fire safes are made of a soft metal and the most important thing is time. Time to withstand a blaze and time to hold off criminals while the alarm company is making contact with authorities. A twohour safe that is 530 inches will provide true peace of mind.

Overall it's really safe. We haven't had a fire or disaster, so I cannot speak regarding that. I could not believe we had to do the combination with a key. The matter is not particularly significant but something to be considered. The combination was tricky because in my entire life I had never had a combination that worked quite like that. You end up turning it ten times to unlock the combination part. It made sense once I understood what was going on and had to watch a Youtube video. We typically leave the combination part unlocked and simply use the key. We are not concerned about the security, but only about the fire safety part. My son stepped into our office one day, and played with the combination, and so we had to do that again. It is just an annoyance for our specific needs, not a big deal. We are on the second floor of our office building, so we made sure to rent a dolly beforehand. The delivery driver brought it to the sidewalk, and was very helpful. It would have been sitting on the sidewalk for awhile, unless there were two men on the floor to bring it upstairs. Delivery was very clear with the date of arrival and we took great care to plan the day to fit our schedule. I recommend this safe location.

The safe is strong. The dial and the mechanism are solid. Also, the company was easy to contact. The only issue I have is that the locking bolts that move in and out of the door are not solid steel. They appear to be 1/16inch metal bent to form the locking bolt. I did not think that it affected the security very much since they are inaccessible to anyone on the outside, but I really like this product and was disappointed that the description was not accurate. I liked that I received a freight shipment instead of UPS or USPS because they called you the day prior to arriving and then shortly before.

The product was shipped and received one day before the estimated date. When packed onto a pallet, the shipper's chances of damage were diminished. Everything is going smoothly. There is no tumbler on the dial. It weighs approximately 180 pounds. This is about all he can handle on a few steps. I do not like to be sent custom orders, however I highly suggest that you read them before ordering.

Buyer's Guide

How To Choose The Best File Cabinet Safes

File cabinets are essential pieces of furniture in every household. They keep important documents and files safely stored away, but they also provide a convenient place to store other items such as keys and coins. However, not everyone has enough space to house their entire collection of files, and sometimes even those who have plenty of room still prefer to use filing cabinets because they are more secure than drawers. This article will help you decide whether a file cabinet is the right choice for you.

What Are File Cabinet Safes?

File cabinets are an essential part of any office space. They are used for storing files, documents, and papers. Most offices will have at least one filing cabinet, but some may have several. These filing cabinets come in different sizes and shapes depending on how much paper needs to be stored. There are many types of filing cabinets available, including metal, wooden, plastic, and glass. The type of material used depends on what kind of environment the filing cabinet will be exposed to. Metal filing cabinets are generally more durable than wood filing cabinets because they are made of steel. Plastic filing cabinets are less expensive than metal filing cabinets, but they tend to break down over time. Glass filing cabinets are very sturdy, but they are also quite heavy and difficult to move around. Wooden filing cabinets are typically the most inexpensive option, but they are prone to warping if left outside too long.

Who Needs File Cabinet Safes?

File cabinets are essential tools for any office. But they aren't just useful for storing paper files. They're also a great place to store other items such as documents, books, and electronics.

But while filing cabinets are great for organizing papers, they can become dangerous if they fall over. This could cause damage to your valuable belongings inside. And this could lead to serious injury or worse.

That's where a file cabinet safes come in handy. These devices protect your contents from falling off shelves and crashing down on top of you. They also prevent your contents from being damaged by fire or water.

There are two main types of file cabinet safes. One type uses a combination lock. These locks require you to enter a code before opening the door. Once you do, you can access the interior compartment.

The second type of safe has a keyed entry system. With these safes, you simply insert a key into a slot located near the front of the device. Then you open the door using the handle. Inside, you'll find a secure space that protects your valuables.

Both types of safes are effective in keeping your possessions safe. However, only one type offers complete protection against fires and floods.

This makes the keyed entry model the best choice for offices that face extreme weather conditions. But if you live somewhere that experiences regular flooding, then the combination lock version is better suited for your home.

In addition to protecting your belongings, a file cabinet safe can offer peace of mind. When you use a combination lock, you know exactly how to gain access to your contents. This lets you know that everything is fine. No one else knows the combination.

On the flip side, if someone gets hold of your keys, they can easily break into your safe. This leaves you vulnerable to theft.

However, if you opt for a keyed entry model, you can rest assured that no one but you can access your safe. This gives you confidence that your valuables are protected.

The Importance Of Purchasing Quality File Cabinet Safes

File Cabinets are essential tools for any home office. They keep files organized and protect them from damage. A properly maintained file cabinet can save you tons of time and money. You'll never have to search through piles of papers again!

But how do you decide if a particular file cabinet is worth buying? There are many factors to consider. For example, you should think about where you plan to use the file cabinet. Do you want to place it in a corner of your living room or near your desk? Will you be storing documents inside the cabinet or just keeping them on shelves above it? How often will you be accessing the contents of the file cabinet? These questions will help you determine whether or not a particular file cabinet is suitable for your needs.

If you're looking for a file cabinet that will hold lots of files, then you may want to opt for one that holds up to 100 drawers. This measurement is usually printed on the outside of the cabinet door. For instance, a 10" deep cabinet might have 12cc drawers.

You should also take into consideration the size of your space. If you have limited floor space, then you may want to go with a smaller model. On the other hand, if you have plenty of room, then you may want to buy a larger unit.

Another factor to consider is the type of material used to construct the file cabinet. Wood file cabinets tend to be less expensive than metal ones. Metal file cabinets are generally sturdier and easier to clean. However, they are also heavier and therefore harder to move around. Wooden file cabinets are typically lighter and easier to maneuver. When selecting a wooden file cabinet, try to find one that features smooth edges and rounded corners instead of sharp angles. Sharp corners can scratch delicate items stored inside the cabinet.

Finally, you should consider the price tag. While most people would agree that a higher price tag means better quality, it doesn't necessarily mean that you'll get a better product.

Features To Consider When Buying File Cabinet Safes

Safety features. When you're storing important documents in a file cabinet, you want to make sure they stay safe. That means finding a cabinet that has safety features built into it. These features could include locks, alarms, combination locks, keypad entry systems, and more.

Security. Another way to ensure your files remain secure is to lock them away in a cabinet that has security features. This could mean using a locking mechanism, such as a deadbolt lock, or even a combination lock.

Easy access. When you're storing important papers in a file cabinet, you'll want to make sure they're easily accessible. Look for cabinets that feature pullout drawers, slide-in trays, and other types of drawers that allow you to quickly reach items stored inside.

Size. The size of your file cabinet is another factor to take into consideration when shopping for a cabinet. Some cabinets are large enough to hold several filing boxes while others are only big enough to store one box at a time.

Storage space. Storage space is another important aspect to think about when shopping for a file cabinet. Find a model that allows you to expand its capacity if needed.

Versatility. Versatility is another important feature to consider when shopping for a file cabinet. Look for models that can accommodate both hanging folders and flat files.

Cost. Cost is always a concern when shopping for anything, including a file cabinet. Shop around for deals and discounts to help you save money. You may also want to check online for coupon codes and special promotions offered by retailers.

Different Types Of File Cabinet Safes

File Cabinets are essential items for any office space. They keep important documents secure and organized. These are also useful for storing files and folders. When choosing a file cabinet, you should consider how large you plan on keeping your files. Smaller file cabinets are better suited for smaller offices whereas larger ones are suitable for bigger spaces. Here are some things to look for when shopping for a file cabinet.

A good rule of thumb is to choose a cabinet that is about half the size of your desk. That way, you won’t have to move your entire desk every time you open the door. Make sure that the cabinet is big enough to hold everything you need. Also, don’t forget to check the height of the cabinet. If you plan on placing it near a window, make sure that it doesn’t block sunlight.

Material. Wood is by far the most popular material for filing cabinets. Steel and plastic are also viable choices. Look for a sturdy wood file cabinet. Plastic and steel cabinets can break easily and are less durable. Wooden cabinets are also cheaper than metal and plastic alternatives.

Storage Space. Choose a cabinet that provides ample room for storing files. Check the depth of the drawers. If you plan on storing paper documents, make sure that the drawer is deep enough to accommodate them. For example, if you plan on storing legal papers, make sure that the drawer is at least 1 inch deep.

Accessories. Consider adding accessories to your file cabinet. Or, you could install a shelf above the top of the cabinet to create extra storage space.
