WHAT WE LIKED MOST:
A video requires a bit of time to download, but it keeps the cost low.
It has been six months since I have not had to replace the batteries.
He takes great photographs and videos. It sends them to my phone very quickly. The app is a little slow but works well enough. Mount in areas where you cannot get much sky. Otherwise, your pictures will wash out.
I am extremely impressed by the photos and videos.
WHAT WE LIKED MOST:
I have had issues with not getting some photos but then getting too many others. I really like the fact that it is a cheaper way to get pictures in real life. The show did not receive five stars however you must purchase credits to get the photos. They are cheap, but it is absurd if it is traveling through your wireless plan. It is similar to dual dip.
This camera replaces a Spypoint Link Micro because Spypoint could not send pictures from the swamp it was in. 'The Spartan,' performs splendidly. This is my first Spartan, but I am going to be a repeat customer. I have read some reviews, that said setup was awful. However, I have not experienced that. I am impressed by the Spartan. This application is great and uses iOS XR as well. I haven't had to call Spartan for anything, because I cannot comment on their customer service. The camera is expensive, but you get what you pay for.
I bought this camera for my husband to purchase for Christmas. The picture quality is very good. A trail cam that includes the text feature makes receiving pictures from your phone a great feature. We even put it up in our driveway to watch the deer patterns in our front yard.
I really like this camera. As always, the images taken in the night time are not as quality as the ones taken in the daytime. The unit is nice and small. The included antenna works fantasticly in my location with poor cell service. I had a SmartScouter camera, which was very dysfunctional, and took poor quality photos. The customer service was not good. I am happy that they did not continue. I was prompted to look for options, and I am very happy I found the Spartan.
I enjoy the camera. I have had it for almost a month. It is asking me to buy premium credit to send pictures to my phone. I paid five dollars per month for Verizon, and now I earn five dollars per month for credit. I am uncertain about this.
WHAT WE LIKED MOST:
The video and pictures are excellent and the two way talk is good for scaring off unwanted visitors. The app makes everything hassle free and easy to use.
WHAT WE LIKED MOST:
I received the camera in order to see the durability and we are now using it. The camera was very easy to setup using the Tactacam Reveal app. I needed longer to get the batteries out of their package than it took to setup the camera. The straightforward steps that were used from selecting a plan to setting up a camera made it seem simple. It was easier to install than my other camera. All I had to do was scan a QR code, and the camera was added to the app and ready to use. The setting area can easily adjusted from the image sizes of eightmp, twelvemp, or 24mp, to the time span multishot and the delay option. I am pleased with the signal on the camera, as this area has poor service and has four bars on the Reveal. I love a good camera, great value, and great pictures. The Reveal has changed my hunts and scouts. I no longer need to go into the woods to check cameras and see activity.
I have been a trail camera user my entire life. However, recently I switched to cellular cameras and purchased a Reveal by Tactcam. I ordered five of them. I was impressed. The setup process is quite straightforward. Simply screw on the antenna, insert 12A batteries, SD card, up to 32g, and move switch from off to set up. Simply click QR code, then click scan code. Do what it instructs. Select the plan you want because I have two hundred and fifty pictures for five dollars. You can go unlimited for $13 a month. Once you have your camera registered, you are ready to go out. You can change settings on your app and update your camera based on how your pictures look. I did not mess with the settings and began acquiring pictures of superior quality than my conventional camera. Tactacam has delivered. The camera is awesome. I like easy setup, affordable plans, and excellent pictures can be downloaded directly to your phone. The biggest positive feature of this camera is that despite having very poor cell phone service in your hunting area, the large antenna ensures excellent service. AT&T or Verizon cameras are available. This allows you to get service at all ends of the earth A+. Highly recommend'
A camera that can capture everything and is inexpensive. This camera takes outstanding photos. The pictures are sent to your app on your phone. I have noticed some things on other reviews as well, and they have been updated. The feedback from Tactacam is amazing as they are working with customers on updates they would like to see. No one I have seen. It uses energizer and lithium batteries for its excellent battery life. Some men still have over 2000 photographs and a 100% battery life. I have attempted several other cell cam systems in the past, but they did not provide adequate service in my area. I use Verizon, because they have the best service for my location. The total of the three cameras that I released were five bars and 4G. All of my cameras have been sold. You ought to purchase a good quality class 10 U3 SD card. I think a card will give you a higher quality picture and speed with an upgrade. It recommends 32 gigabyte vehicles, but the camera has a loop feature you can turn on and off to override your card so it will never stop in case you are not able to get back and check it. I am using a 64gigabyte San Disk camera which is running fine. This is a list of tips that will make your purchase easier. This camera is better than any camera priced between $100 and $500. The rates are some of the cheapest that you will ever find. Download the app free to see the prices for the packages you want. I hope this review helps.
I had high hopes for the reveal it is truly better than I imagined. I bought the camera on Wednesday and it's worth every penny. The camera can be purchased with either Verizon or AT&T data plans. It is simple to setup, it took me five minutes and was ready for the field. Download the Tactcam Reveal app, choose a plan and add a camera to the app. I will say that the pictures are great you get to choose between eight, 12, and 24mp on your picture quality, once you get your camera setup turn off the camera and let it sit for 24 hours, this is for the two devices to finish connecting. The other nice thing is once you get your camera set up the way you would like it, or if you forget something, you can go back to the app on your phone and change your settings. You will be able to select your sensitivity from the camera settings on the app, and proceed to change it when you forget to set it to low. You should get yourself a Tactcam Reveal.
The Reveal is the best trail camera on the market currently, for the money it costs. It is a cell cam and is easier to setup than a normal trail cam. The speed at which the camera transmits the photographs from the camera to your phone after they were taken blew my expectations. There is only a moment between the moment you view a photograph on your phone and the time it takes to arrive. I tried the camera out in my driveway. I knew who was here while sitting in the recliner before they rang the doorbell. Use it to your advantage and know when the buck of yours is near a tree stand or on his way to an ambush point. Go seal the deal. The options that the camera has, which you can control directly from your smartphone, are endless. Place lithium batteries in the camera, a class 10, 32GB sd card in it, and set it in the woods. You will not be able to return to the camera until the season is over. Purchase Reveal, or two or four and walk the area this is the best hunting season you've ever had.
WHAT WE LIKED MOST:
I would give the camera five stars. It is simple to setup and use. The image quality is good (HD quality or slightly better). I can receive support via email. Once motion detection is detected the receipt of the notification email with pictures posted to my Vosker account may arrive within 30 seconds or several hours. I find this troubling considering this is a LTE (AT&T Verizon) based security camera. I have 5x5 and it is the strongest signal reception. It appears this is related to the volume of mobile traffic between Vosker server and my email account. I would expect Vosker to monitor the traffic and adjust the network and routing. Vosker management is free to respond to my comment. This should not happen with a high quality security camera, like the V200.
We wanted to be able to watch the construction process, so we would know when it would be worth our time to drive up to the site and back. I think the best camera type is one that has solar charging features and cellular builtin, which would send me photos when I was in a room. I bought a camera. I walked around with it at my home for more than a month in order to get a feeling of how the camera worked and which settings were the best for me. The camera is easy to activate, and you get one month of free of the elite plan, which is unlimited photos. I ended up choosing to continue the plan after the one month trial period. I can get as many photos as I want sent, and 40 pictures upgraded to high definition if requested. It costs $20 per month. After getting familiar with the camera and the associated app, we visited the construction site and found a tree that pointed toward the site. I am pleased that I played around with this at home first so I did not have to mess around with it when we were setting it up. I love the VOKER app and set my camera to send me photos every two hours. This camera is working fantastically and has maintained 100% battery power through the solar panel since it was installed. We have a cell tower on a mountain above our building side that gives a 5x5 signal. We had a person come to the site, and I thought that he worked for our builder but I wasn't sure from the standard definition photos that were sent, so I requested a high def photo and determined that this was the man I thought it was. This is the reason I wanted to do a review. I was more thrilled to purchase this product.
I really enjoy this camera and phone app. I use it as my primary driveway camera system. I will be buying another one for my other home.
I use the camera to view drivers on my driveway. The reaction time is a little slow on the V200. If the vehicle is driving a little too quickly, you miss the plate number. The location feature should only be accessed from the mobile app. Many people use game cameras, and if they are robbed they take the camera to them.
I own a variety of these and they are very good outdoor cameras. A V200 is capable of sending pictures from remote areas. It is possible to send notifications to your phone with a strong LTE signal from a cell tower. Even if a weaker signal, photos do arrive.
WHAT WE LIKED MOST:
A clear image, that is precisely focused, even when zoomed in. A fast response is the most optimal. It's an excellent addition to my Reolink security system.
It is superior a la anterior and extremely camara.
I used this product in order to add more security to the house.
WHAT WE LIKED MOST:
The LTE security camera works as described. First, the camera itself feels nicely made and does not feel expensive. The card contains everything in the box. It's very simple to setup and begin using. Before you start using it, you should charge your battery manually. I took several hours to complete, but it is normal. This package includes a security lockbox and a cable. These are very well made, they make tampering with the device a lot more difficult. Once the battery is charged, you should be ready to start the setup. This app will walk you through the entire process. The app itself is very user friendly. Because the camera works over LTE networks, there is a subscription plan. You must use it for best results. One plan that is free but you only get 100 photos a month. The free plan has no HD photos. There is a 30 day elite package trial which includes unlimited photos and up to 40 HD photos. When motion is detected, the camera sends a low quality image to your phone. It usually takes twenty to thirty seconds to receive. The image quality is lower for most standards, but you still can see what is going on. I will attach some images of lower quality to this review. You will need to request a high resolution image to be displayed. In the future it will send a high definition photograph when it communicates with the camera. You may not get the photo now. I also attached a couple of samples of the HD photographs, as well. The lens itself is no bad thing for it's worth. It is not a very wide angle lens, so be aware. The HD photos use a fairly good camera quality and night vision works just fine. My camera has been mounted for approximately a week from the writing of this review and it has been at nearly 100% battery since. The solar panel does a great job of keeping the camera charged and active. It has endured rain, sun, and even hot temperatures without issue. All things considered, a camera like this is not for everyone. It's great if you own an area in which you cannot get a Wi-Fi signal from other cameras. It is expensive and you do need a monthly subscription to keep it active unless you have 100 photos for the best results. You can retrieve all of the HD photos from the SD card if you choose but that would require you to go to the camera's location to get them defeating the purpose of having a setup such as this. I gave it five stars because it works as described and does the job well although it is a bit expensive. It all depends on the user and their needs. If you need something that you can set up and forget about, this is it.
It is very solid and well made. After charging it for two full days, it has not stopped working since. Covers large areas and is simple to install and setup via the mobile app. If you configure it that way it sends photos to your phone. Videos are only done via the app and can be set up for motion detection as well as night vision. The app allows you to set up storage and backup, and allows you to view video and photos in a clear, clear image. The price is good for an exceptional unit. I love that you do not have to have wifi to get it to work, or set this up through a system.
It is easy to set up and install and works great.
WHAT WE LIKED MOST:
Four of these cameras were purchased. Until recently the cameras were not working. Additionally, the service was excellent. Not even a single person now. I relied on these to keep my clients' property safe. The camera is showing that it is connected to your cell phone or an app, however it will not display any photos. I purchased the Elite Data plan. It is an unnecessary waste of money now and my clients are very upset. I am also stuck with four overpriced cameras. Please do not waste your money.
I own 58 acres in Langtry, Texas. It is not a very good thing to find Verizon or TMobile service. Voice over the Internet cell phone service is a four out of five bar service. I take great photos, whether they are at night or at daytime. High quality photographs are so wonderful. Voskater is an amazing app. I wake up every morning after the notifications begin to send.
It did what it should. She takes pictures and then sends them to me.
The camera does not have to be in bad condition. I did exactly what I needed it for. I used it to catch people breaking in my storage lot at night, and vandalizing things. I was not pleased with the picture quality. Other than that, it was exactly as the company claimed.
This LTE security camera works exactly as described. The card is included in the box, you can access it on any microSD card. It is very easy to setup and start using. Before using it, you must charge the battery manually. This took quite a few hours but it is to be expected. If you charge the battery outside of the camera you should be able to complete the setup. The app walks you through everything, and is very userfriendly. This camera is available over the LTE network, but you need to purchase a subscription plan in order to use it. There is a 7day Elite package trial and the includes unlimited photos and up to 40 HD photos. When motion is detected, the camera sends a low quality image to your phone. The receiver generally takes four to five seconds to receive the message. The image is low quality for most standards but you can still figure out what is going on. To this review I am attaching some of the images in the lower quality. You need to request an image in high resolution. The program will send the photo in HD to the camera in the next communication so you will not receive the photo in HD immediately. Additionally, I've included high resolution samples of the photos. The camera lens itself on this camera is not bad for what it is. You have to know the distance because it is not a large angle lens. The camera quality on the HD pictures is fairly good, and the night vision works well. My camera has been mounted for about one week from the time I wrote this review and it has been at 100% battery ever since. The solar panel does a great job of keeping the camera charged and active. All things considered, a camera of this size is not for everyone. In addition to rain, snow, and frost, there are also warmer temperatures. It is a good option if you have private property and cannot receive a wireless signal while using other cameras. It is quite expensive, if you ask me. You will have to buy a monthly subscription for it to remain active. You can retrieve all HD photos from the SD card if you choose, but that would require you to go to the camera's location to get them. This obstructs the purpose of having a setup like this. This camera does not have videos, instead it takes pictures. I would rate it 5 because of the work that it does and the price, even though it is a bit expensive. It all depends on the user and their needs. It is an ideal purchase if you want to forget about and get what you need.
WHAT WE LIKED MOST:
I had never aware that the camera was designed for connectivity via cellular technology only to provide an unbiased review. To use this device, you must install a cell technology SIM card. I could use the device as described and have a cell account, but there will be an associated cost for bandwidth and data use. I had not planned on using this device in this manner, my install location is covered by WiFi. I can not review this device due to lack of bluetooth capability. It is impossible to connect the device to my IOS phone without a SIM card. I do not have a SIM card and do not plan to use one currently so I am unable to test its basic functions. The device powers on and provides voice prompts for configuration. Of course I am stuck on step one insert the SIM card. I liked the quality of the device and its solar power panel. They appear to be of quality components and should stand up to outdoor use. I would not want to play frisbee with it, but I believe that it will survive an accurate installation and unprotected use should my use case grow and I choose to utilize this device as intended / with a SIM card, I will update my review accordingly. I think this is an educational example. I should have read the vendor's description of the project more deeply.
I really like this camera because it fills a void in security cameras. I have several, but we have a large property that our wi fi won't cover, and now I can monitor the remote areas. When I hear the Wild Dogs running, it is nice to see a live feed than view the SIM card the next day. It was as easy as purchasing a basic cell plan and installing the SIM card. It is a quality product and can be described as 5 stars.
