"Watership Down" takes place during World War II. Hazel, Fiver, Bigwig, and the rest of the rabbits escape from war torn London. They travel through the countryside where they meet new friends along the way. Eventually, they end up in a village called Watership Downs.
Don't forget to use your library. Libraries often offer free access to ebooks and audiobooks. Plus, you can borrow print books. Check your school website to see if your library offers any special programs or discounts. And finally, ask your teacher for recommendations. She or he knows the books that work best for your particular needs.

A Clockwork Orange by Anthony Burgess. A Clockwork Orange is set in the future where criminals are forced to wear mechanical collars that control their behavior. Alex DeLarge is one of those criminals. He is released from prison and goes on a rampage causing chaos throughout the city.
