These pencils are well made and come in two sizes 0.5 mm and 0.7 mm. The 0.7mm lead is thicker and does not break so frequently. This set comes with refill lead in both sizes as well as three erasers, all packaged in a plastic case which was unexpected and a pleasant surprise. The pencils are not heavy and have comfortable grips that allow for ease of writing. I think that it is small that I will have to overlook it.

I needed to replace my mechanical pencils that I have had since the late 1980's. I like to have a case for my pencils. I also loved having erasers. It was a great package. I have taken up pencil drawing and this gave me everything I needed for my new hobby.

I really enjoy these mechanical pencils. I was able to get the thickness I wanted and they are comfortable to write with.

I should not have to buy new leads for years. I use a bullet journal to draw layouts first, and then pen over them.

It's a nice product for such a low price. The pencils are cute and twelve packs of led are included. There is a total of 144.

The GraphGear® Professional Grade Drafting Pencil is a professional grade drafting pencil engineered for heavy use. The graphite core is protected by a sturdy metal clip and has a durable metal grip. It is weighted for precision and balance and has a soft rubber grip for comfortable and easy writing and drawing. The rubber tip is latex free and provides a smooth writing surface. The GraphGear® Professional Grade Drafting Pencil is ideal for drafting, sketching, note taking, and writing.

A friend of mine recommended a mechanical pencil with a 0.3 lead, for sketching and shading before painting with watercolor paints. Light is a good description for this pencil. Use gentle touch to avoid lead leakage. Overall this pencil is reasonably priced and has a comfortable grip, weighted appropriately. I'm grateful the extra leads and an eraser came with it.

I love the look and feel of this pencil, especially the 0.3 lead it uses. This is an excellent seller and was packaged well and delivered promptly.

The item comes with additional lead and an eraser. I love that color as well.

It was the best pencil of all time, with perfect lead thickness. The eraser works fine. The Germans should take a lesson from Pentel. Bosch produces poor quality products across all product lines. Consequently, high prices and low performance are a problem with all German products.

It is easy to hold and feels good in my hand. I use it for journaling, and I love the way it writes.

Today they continue to provide the best pencils in the world. Youll love the way these pencils feel in your hand and how well they write.

I said it was functional. I have used mechanical pencils for many years and I have become accustomed to them. I often get a head of myself when I am writing because the sentence is not written properly. I have to erase and advertise what I had forgotten. I have always liked to write with pencil. Especially with a mechanical pencil. I should be fine, as long as the pencil feeds the lead.

It is easy to write and easier to hold. This is an adequate value for money. This will last me a number of years.

The product arrived, and the box containing the mechanical pencils was damaged, which led me to opening the envelope. The pencils appear to have been damaged. There were no issues with the pink and pearl erasers.

They arrived in a small, clear plastic box, packed into a larger cardboard box. This is a perfect addition to my classroom treasure box.

I like the mechanical pencils. The pencils are fine, though the plastic box broke when we received them. My nineyearold is learning how to write long division. His handwriting is very messy. The Graph Paper, and the Fine Writing Point have been useful.

Paper Mates clearpoint mechanical pencils are designed to help you get the most out of your writing experience. These pencils feature a comfortable grip, easy-to-use click-advance mechanism, and convenient click-retract mechanism. The lead supply indicator lets you know how much lead is left in the pencil. The refillable eraser also features a convenient twist-up design. The new 0. 5mm mechanical pencils feature a lead supply indicator that lets you know how much lead is left in the pencil.

We have discovered the perfect, affordable mechanical pencil for students. My kids are in the fourth and sixth grade, and we began using Papermate Clearpoint pencils about three months ago. They have been refilled with replacement leads several times without any indication of the mechanics being worn out or defective. We purchased a three pack at the Office Supply section at our local Target store. It was a great amount of money. They could keep track of us in their classroom when their names were printed on labels from the label printer. I was worried that I would use the thinner size of lead of 0.5. The kids seem to prefer it. It allows them to write smaller and doodle in more detail when given the opportunity. My son's penmanship seems to be more deliberate and concise when he uses this pencil compared to a traditional pencil that needs to be sharpened. I don't understand why. My daughter started planning how she would earn enough money to replace her pencil. I appreciate Amazon Prime shipping especially in such situations as this one. We are spoiled with the ease and convenience of getting exactly what we need within a few days. I ordered this set on Wednesday. They arrived on Friday. It features metal parts as compared to a Clearpoint pencil that is made from plastic. Our experience after opening the package was wonderful.

I would say this is the best mechanical pencil I have ever used. I am not kidding when I say this is the only mechanical pencil that I intend to purchase for the next four years of my undergraduate studies. I'd say that it's very good. Compared to other mechanical pencils, the Papermate Clearpoint Elite is much more durable. It has a metal grip which prevents it from snapping easily. It feels like a quality pen. The eraser located at the top is better because it does not retract easily which is something that I did not like about the regular Papermate Clearpoint mechanical pencils. The pencil is slimmer than its regular counterpart and overall it is superb. Although I do not typically write reviews, this was one thing that I could not pass up. I adore this mechanical pencil and highly recommend it. I like to keep things simple and your will most likely find me with nothing more than a mechanical pencil, a pen, a highlighter, and a bar eraser. I was excited when I discovered the Papermate Elite Clearpoint mechanical pencil. If you are searching for a longterm writing utensil, this is it

My favorite type of accessories are pencils. They fit just better. The button that adjusts the lead does not interfere with the regular clearpoint, and the lead is better protected from breakage as well.

I have used the 0.7mm Paper Mate Clearpoint Mechanical Pencil for years. Then I decided to look for something with a stronger lead. My Elite 0.5mm lens is very excited. I do not have to hold the eraser with a fingertip to keep it from retracting whenever I use it. I have found that the lead still smudges a little, but I am experimenting with how to write with it. It seems that it depends on how I hold it, how hard I press down, and how much lead is out. Since I never know if I will suffer from hand or finger pain every day, the best feature is the padded, contoured grip and it's absolutely worth the slightly higher price difference. I use the new mechanical pencil many times more than I use my gel pen now. It reminds me of being back in school and I also enjoyed that.

My daughter begged me to buy them after she got one from a classmate. They were more expensive than I wanted to spend on pencils, but she insisted that they worked great, so I ordered a pack. I use these pencils because they are much more comfortable to use. I write and erase well. It's great that it comes with extra lead and erasers. Although I have only had to replace the lead once or twice since getting them, my daughter and son are hooked on these pencils now because the lead rarely breaks. I ordered a more complete set. I like these pencils very much.

I highly enjoy the pencils. It could melt the grip. They seem to last perfectly I have had some of these pencils for over two years. I don't know why anyone bothers with mechanical pencils because you have to erase incredibly gently with or repack the lead every time.

I have been using mechanical pencils for years, first as a math teacher, where every kid tried to get a hand on my pencils to keep for themselves, then just for general use. I enjoy that the eraser is large and not involved in the advancing of the lead. I enjoy the 0.7 sized lead. It is small enough to fine lines and not easily breaking. I love that these pencils last forever. My grandchildren are trying to collect them to keep for themselves.

I purchased high quality mechanical pencils to use to return to school for my daughters for days. I am no longer attracted to cheaper, and wasteful pencils. If you are trying to discard them before you make it near enough to refill them, then what is the point of having them be refillable? I hope these quality pencils will cut down on our short usage plastic consumption. These are our new favorites. The lead is unbelievably smooth and the click to refill on the bottom side is much more subtle than the top side. Also available are eraser refills. I think these pencils will be around for a long time.

These are expensive but worth every penny. I am a lefty, and these are a good alternative to pens. It is easy to write with them, and they do not smear.

I utilize pencils frequently in my work and prefer mechanical pencils, so I have tried a large number of different mechanical pencils over the years. My favorite pentel quick clickers are the Quicker Clickers. They are easy to grip, and rarely seem to malfunction. The 7.7 lead size appears to rarely ever break when writing, compared to the 5.5 lead, which seemed to break quite often while writing. In addition, it's eraser works really well. fewer to no smudging. It may not be the most stylish pencil on the market, nor are it the least expensive, but I highly recommend this one for reliable and solid mechanical pencils.

I will explain the concept to you in the event that you cannot read Japanese. The inside of the pencil contains metal gadgets that rotate the graphite a bit every time you press down and up the pencil from the paper. Instead of using up all of the graphite on one side, and making you write with the diagonal side that is long, this keeps it sharp by turning it. However, because of this the pencil stays sharper when you write than when you are drawing or shading in something. I have won a pink special edition one of this from an essay contest and it was very impressive. I ordered a red one to match my pencil case. Japanese mechanical pencils are usually more high quality than many American items made in China. I strongly recommend you to get Japanese goods for as many things as possible unless you tend to lose them rather often because the price does tend to be on the higher side due to shipping.

I had originally owned a blue American line, and loved it to death, but ended up losing it after six months. I decided to go online to get my new mechanical pencil, and I was happy to see the Japanese version of my old love one. I wish the blue American version rests in peace. I must confess, I was very excited to receive this is the mail. I have not drawn in over a week, and I dislike.7mm pencils. I opened the box and received exactly what I wanted, and my fingers felt twitchy. Although the base is made of plastic, the overall construction is sturdy. The materials are strong and it does not feel cheap. I was very confident in my pencil writing. Below you will find a photograph of the testing. The motor is not perfectly sanded, so I did not turn my pencil while writing. It is not sharp, but you can sense it. This is not enough to give it four stars. I will be certain to order my next pencil from this brand as well. I believe I might consider buying one from Metal next time. I am aware of the reliability of this brand.

I remember this as my first Uni/Kuru Toga and that was what got me started on getting other Kuru Toga pencils. It is extremely effective for writing notes and other similar tasks. The roulette mechanism works, although I feel that it requires more pressure while writing to keep it going compared to the roulette model and the pipe slide model. I love the colors I recently purchased the pink one and purchased the purple one. I am fairly confident that the photographs you receive are accurate. I do not find any negatives in the pencil itself. Finding replacement erasers for it is difficult, and after two failed attempts, I purchased a separate battery operated eraser. I recommend this if you are seeking a quality mechanical pencil with a plastic body.

I was taking notes with my architectural drafting pencils, but they are metal and have not very comfortable grips. This pencil is more comfortable to hold during my sessions. I am not sure how I would feel about the spinning lead but I think it's really cool. I do not need to with this pencil because it is cute I bought the pink version, but I adjust my grip to keep a sharp edge, out of habit. I plan to order a couple more in other colors, so I can keep one in my backpack for on campus classes and another one at my desk for online classes. For those who have a specific preference for their writing supplies this pencil is excellent. The only complaint that I have is the small eraser, which is not as good. I would cross that bridge to see if the replacement erasers are as good quality.

I really like this pencil Please remember that the rotating behavior that occurs when you write primarily in cursive, will not be helpful, because it rotates when you lift up. I was not sure at first and I was not very benefiting from rotating. I began writing more and I felt the benefit of having the lead keep rotating. The motion of the tip being slightly pushed in is very slight. I thought I would be affected by it, but I really do not bother myself. I thought the grip would also be a problem. It is all plastic but it is knurled to have an adequate grip. The construction feels nice and sturdy. I am really pleased with this pencil.

WHAT WE LIKED MOST:

This is a refillable mechanical pencil. The lead is made of super-high polymer HB lead, which is a type of lead that is more flexible and durable than ordinary lead. It has a strong, dark line and is used in a variety of applications, including calligraphy, technical drawings, and artistic work. The eraser is made of rubber and is easy to use. The soft rubber surface of the eraser makes it easy to remove excess graphite. This is a replacement lead and eraser. The lead is pre-loaded and will not need sharpening. Product Size: 1. 5" x 2. 5" x 0. 2" (4cm x 6cm x 0.

You may have discovered this page because you are diligently weighing your options while trying to find one pencil that does not kill you. I believe that you should stop looking. I bought it nearly two years ago, at the end of my first year of medical school. I am tired of having wood pencils that ran out or mechanical pencils that broke. I wrote a portion of the human knowledge on pathology, immunology, microbiology, pharmacology, neuroscience, and psychology with a pencil. I filled three notebooks full of writing in preparation for the largest challenge of my life. I consistently doodled in the margins and sheepishly erased it. I regret many decisions that I made over the years. As a practicing physician I use the same pencil. I have never regretted buying this pencil.

I have loved Pentel's mechanical pencils since high school, and kept it throughout my four years, even purchasing two extra sets for convenience. However, one of the pencils broke, one went missing, another has been having issues, and the last one is showing signs of wear, so I decided to look for new pencils for my first year of college. I tried two Paper Mate pencils and Pilot's G2 pencil. I was disappointed with the feel and quality. I decided that it would be a good idea to stick with what I know and buy another set of my favorite Pentels. However, I could not find them anywhere on Amazon. I found these, while I was looking for them, and thought they were attractive enough for me to try them. In any case, they were still Pentels. I never imagined being so impressed by a $5 pack of two pencils but I was when I used these for the first time. They feel incredible when in your hand and are very heavy and have a tight grip. The eraser is the best I have ever come across in a mechanical pencil and the twist feature really is easy and useful. I have never been one to go crazy with names and marketing, but this pencil is appropriately named. The longest nib allows for a very fine control and precision that is not available with other pencils that I have used. I use a hat with a long, narrow tip, which allows me to see more of the paper while writing. It also allows me to keep the pencil at a more comfortable distance away from the paper. I have not used this for more than a week, but I am already aware of the fact that they will be my favorite writing tool for a long time

They are best when used as led pencils. The ones where drafting engineers seem to flock. I purchased this because it had high reviews and was affordable. Little did I know that I was purchasing the champion of all lead pencil brands. My fatherinlaw is a draftsman and saw me holding a pencil. He said, Well, that looks familiar. I did not know that was that well known. It was light, but well thought out. Plastic, but firm and does not feel like you are going to break anything. The Top Easy Twist Eraser is very basic and makes it very easy to use. The top lifts off and makes adding lead a snap. Whoever created this design was familiar with the concept of simplicity. It is a pencil, so you shouldn't complicate things as long as it is comfortable and nice to write. There are no complaints. The eraser is great, and lasts quite a long time. The eraser erases very nicely and takes the lead off of the paper. It is extremely affordable, as well as an easy replacement on Amazon as well as the eraser. It is more affordable than most eraser packs and has no value. Stop buying them and get this. If you are not convinced, read other reviews from people who have been using these for years and years. That is a very impressive tool.

It is the best mechanical pencil that I have ever used. I prefer mechanical pencils to regular pencils and pens, but most mechanical pencils are poorly designed. I purchased the 0.9mm version. I found it to be very good for my writing style.

I have enjoyed the little pencils that change my perception of mechanical pencils. In high school, I figured buying 20 pencils for ten dollars would be better than buying two nice pencils for twelve dollars. Since high school, I have easily spent over 100 dollars on nonreusable mechanical pencils that were poorly made, with bad lead, and an unusable eraser. These pencils are very comfortable to hold in hand, have a very common lead size, which is easy to see, and feel very luxurious to write with. I have to emphasize how much I appreciate having a reliable eraser on my pencil. This particular pencil is made with modular construction, which means I could purchase two of them for my college career. Pencils such as these show that you can have a reliable pencil that you can take care of and that can last years, which is far too rare these days.

WHAT WE LIKED MOST:

A perfect pencil for sketching, doodling, and drawing, the mechanical pencil has a lead core diameter of 0. 5mm and is available in 6 colors. It features a convenient monogramme refill with a sharp point for quick erasing.

It is sturdy in the hand and writes smoothly. It is very easy to use. The instructions are in Japanese which can be translated easily with Google Translate. I purchased it along with three others and it is my favorite. I found this particular pencil to be convenient for someone with moderate arthritis in both hands. I really wish that it were a little less expensive.

The song is, I really like this pencil, but I am slightly pricey but it is worth it. It is cute, comfortable to hold, and writes very well.

It is very comfortable and convenient to use. I would highly recommend it.

Comfortable to hold and a cute color.

Buyer's Guide

How To Choose The Best 0.5 Mechanical Pencil

Mechanical pencils have been around since the early 1900s, but they haven't always had the same features as modern ones. This has led to confusion among consumers who often wonder whether they should get a new mechanical pencil or not. We've compiled a list of the main differences between mechanical pencils and other writing instruments, so you can make sure you're getting the best one for your needs.

What Is A 0.5 Mechanical Pencil?

A 0.5 mechanical pencil is a type of mechanical pencil made for writing. It has an eraser at the end of the lead instead of a point. The eraser is much smaller than the tip of a regular pencil, making it easier to erase mistakes without smearing the ink. Most people prefer using a 0.5 mechanical pencil because it allows them to write more legibly while still having enough space to make corrections if needed.

Who Needs A 0.5 Mechanical Pencil?

Mechanical pencils are one of the most common tools in any office. But did you know that there are actually other types of mechanical pencils?

There are two main categories of mechanical pencils: leaded and un-leaded. Leaded pencils use metal leads which contain graphite powder. Un-leaded pencils use plastic erasers. Both types of pencils are made using similar technology. However, each type has its advantages and disadvantages.

Leaded pencils are generally considered better quality. They last longer and produce smoother lines. On the downside, they require regular maintenance. To clean them properly, you must remove the cap and wipe off the lead every time you finish writing. Then, you must replace the lead before reusing the pencil.

Un-leaded pencils are usually cheaper than leaded pencils. They are also lighter and easier to carry around. Unfortunately, they do not hold up as well as leaded pencils. Because they lack a metal core, they wear down quickly. Also, they cannot be cleaned easily. Instead, you must throw away the entire pencil after only a couple of uses.

Which type of mechanical pencil is best for you depends on how often you write. If you typically write very lightly, then a leaded pencil would probably suit you best. Otherwise, an un-leaded pencil may be a better fit.

In addition to choosing between leaded and un-leaded pencils, you may wonder whether you really need a mechanical pencil at all. After all, you can simply use a pen to write. Why bother buying a mechanical pencil?

Well, there are several reasons why you might prefer a mechanical pencil over a pen. First, mechanical pencils allow you to write smoothly while still maintaining a firm grip on the page. Second, they are relatively inexpensive. Third, they are compact and lightweight. Finally, they are designed to withstand rough handling. All these factors make mechanical pencils ideal for students and professionals.

The final factor that makes mechanical pencils superior to pens is convenience. Mechanical pencils are much faster to load than pens. They also take less space. Therefore, you can pack more things in your bag. And finally, mechanical pencils are simple to sharpen. No special equipment required. Simply put, mechanical pencils are a perfect tool for busy people.

So, next time you head to the store, think twice before opting for a pen. Consider purchasing a mechanical pencil instead. You may end up saving money and getting more done.

The Importance Of Purchasing A Quality 0.5 Mechanical Pencil

If you've ever had trouble writing with a pen or pencil, then you'll understand how frustrating it can be to have a dull pencil. Dull pencils aren't just annoying; they can even hurt if you accidentally hit them against something sharp. Fortunately, there are ways to ensure that you never have to worry about having a dull pencil again. Here are some things to keep in mind when buying a new pencil:

Look for a smooth grip. A smooth grip makes it easier to hold onto the pencil. Smooth grips tend to come with softer plastic bodies. This allows the tip of the pencil to move smoothly across the page. You may want to try different types of pencils until you find one that feels best to you.

Buy a refillable pencil. Refillable pencils are great because they save you money by allowing you to use less ink or graphite. They also prevent waste since you won't have to buy new supplies every time you finish writing.

Consider the type of eraser you prefer. Erasers come in many shapes and sizes. Try several different kinds until you find one that works best for you. For example, some people like soft erasers, while others prefer harder rubber erasers.

Try different colors. Different colored pencils work better for certain subjects. For instance, blue might be better for drawing flowers, red for coloring in hair, etc.

Don't forget to take care of your pencils. Make sure that you clean your pencils regularly. When cleaning, wipe off any excess dirt with a damp cloth. Never place pencils in direct sunlight or near heat sources such as stoves or radiators. These conditions can dry out the wood casing of the pencil.

Features To Consider When Buying A 0.5 Mechanical Pencil

Pencil length. The longer the pencil, the more writing surface area you have. But if you prefer a shorter pencil, you may miss out on certain features. For example, many mechanical pencils feature retractable leads that allow you to write with ease even when they're retracted inside the barrel.

Lead type. Most mechanical pencils feature either graphite or lead. Graphite provides a smooth line while lead gives you a harder point. Some manufacturers offer both types of leads in their pencils.
