Account Management and Usage

For straightforward stories, fewer sequences may be required, while more complex stories or those involving multiple plots may need more sequences. Users generate numerous possible "next steps" from each sequence and choose the one(s) they like most, then create more sequences from there until they find the path they like best.

Unused sequences from Regular Boosters never expire, while those from Monthly subscriptions carry over to the next month of membership. If a Monthly membership is canceled, any unused sequences will expire, even if re-subscription occurs. Story Path currently offers two subscription tiers: Regular Boosters for basic access and Large Boosters for additional sequence generation capabilities.

The software generates sequences based on user inputs and story context, with some restrictions in place to ensure appropriate content. While these restrictions prevent specific content from being generated (such as extreme violence or hate speech), users can still create outlines for stories in horror, thriller, action, or war/military genres. If sequences are blocked by the content filter, users can try a different path, add an empty sequence, or continue from the previous step. Account management allows users to track their progress and adjust their subscription as needed. To manage their account, users log in and navigate to the Subscription section, where they can view their current status and subscription details. The company also offers a Delete Account option, which requires users to first cancel their active subscription before proceeding with the deletion process.

During account deletion, all work and remaining credits are destroyed. Users should be aware that this action is irreversible. For those who need to cancel their subscription, the process involves logging in, visiting the Account page, navigating to the Subscription section, and clicking the Manage link to confirm cancellation. Unused sequence credits are voided upon account cancellation, while Booster pack credits remain unaffected.
