Sharing is permitted for personal, non-commercial purposes, and users retain the right to edit and reuse their own content royalty-free.

The music generation process allows users to maintain full ownership of their content while granting Riffusion non-exclusive rights for service-related activities. These rights permit Riffusion to maintain, improve, conduct research, and promote their services, but users retain complete creative control over their original material. Before sharing any Riffs publicly, users must include proper attribution that clearly references the content's creation through Riffusion's service.

All generated content comes with specific usage restrictions. Users may not employ their creations to train machine learning models, upload content that includes nudity, hate speech, or other prohibited materials, or distribute sensitive information. Riffusion also prohibits activities like scraping content, automated copying, or using the service for commercial or competitive purposes. All generated output carries "hallucination" risks and may contain errors or inappropriate content, for which Riffusion provides no warranty.

Attribution and Content Use

Users must properly attribute all Riff-generated content, ensuring any public usage clearly references its creation through Riffusion's service. The attribution requirement applies to all shared content and must be reasonable and practical for the intended usage.

To protect individual rights, users must obtain written consent before sharing any content containing identifiable natural persons. This requirement extends to third-party content, ensuring all shared material complies with relevant privacy laws and intellectual property standards.

Content restrictions enforce appropriate usage and prevent misuse of the platform. Users may not employ their creations for machine learning model training, uploading prohibited materials, or distributing sensitive information. The platform also forbids scraping, automated copying, commercial use, and competitive activities that could harm its operations or reputation.

Riffusion exercises careful control over content generation through its platform. While users retain ownership of their content, Riffusion maintains specific rights to use this content for service-related purposes. These rights include maintaining service stability, conducting research, and promoting their platform, but they do not affect users' fundamental ownership rights.

Data Collection and Use

Riffusion collects personal data from multiple sources including user interactions, advertising partners, service providers, and third-party data providers. The company also gathers data from publicly available sources and through transactions such as mergers and acquisitions.

The data categories collected include contact information, account information, user content, payment information, event/contest information, and support information. Corpusant retains all rights to Apps and their copies, and users receive a non-exclusive, limited license to use Apps on one device, with the license not transferable or shareable. Users must comply with Apple's Media Services Terms and Volume Content Terms when using iOS applications distributed through the Apple App Store.

The company's use of third-party services includes Single Sign-On to access tokens from third-party services for user identification and authentication confirmation. Mobile Sign-On processes collect facial geometry, fingerprint, or biometric information for authentication purposes using the user's device, with the device performing the authentication process and communicating success to the platform.

Dispute Resolution

Arbitration Process

The arbitration will take place in the user's county of residence or in San Francisco, California, with the location determined at the discretion of JAMS, the arbitration provider. Cases are governed by JAMS' Optional Expedited Arbitration Procedures, which govern the dispute resolution process.

Limitations and Waivers

Users waive their right to seek relief through courts or juries. All claims must be brought in the individual user's capacity, prohibiting participation in class actions, collective actions, private attorney general actions, or other representative proceedings. The arbitrator can only award relief to individual claimants, and any relief granted applies only to the specific claims of the individual and not to other users.

Government Use

The Service is considered commercial computer software developed at private expense. For civilian agencies, the terms of usage are governed by 48 C.F.R. 12.212 of the Federal Acquisition Regulations and its successors. For Department of Defense units, specific terms apply as detailed in the agreement.

Eligibility

To use the Service, users must be at least 13 years old. Parental consent is required for users under 18 years old in most states. Users under 18 years old must also have their parents' or legal guardians' permission to agree to these terms.
